Increasing growth and colonization of roots
Myconate contains the biologically active isoflavone formononetin , a natural signaling compound that stimulates the recruitment of Vesicular-Arbuscular Mycorrhizal (VAM) fungi to the plant’s root system. An enhanced mycorrhizal network effectively increases the absorbing surface area of roots and hence the amount of soil available to support the plant. This enables the plant to access and absorb more water, which is especially beneficial under dry conditions. Mycorrhizae also have the ability to extract soil nutrients that the plant cannot normally access, making plants with well-developed mycorrhizal systems more efficient users of fertilizer and enabling these plants to perform better under poorer soil conditions.
Myconate works quickly. As soon as roots appear, they are quickly colonized by mycorrhizal fungi, giving the plant a much larger root system that improves water and fertilizer uptake. Plants will be healthier and produce bigger yields.
Myconate is safe and easy to apply, and management practices don’t have to be adjusted in any way. Purpose-specific formulations allow Myconate to be applied to seed, to be used in-furrow with starter fertilizers or other materials, or applied to soil in sprays, side-dressings, drenches or through any irrigation system. Any method that gets the Myconate down into the root zone where it can do its job is satisfactory.
